Hello Ladies, (and the occasional man) it seems like it has been a minute since I had a post, so here goes nothing. I have been doing pretty well with my natural hair here lately, being pretty patient and taking it a day at a time. But recently I have kicked my workout regiment back up into high gear and my natural hair has decided not to follow the trend. At the start of my workout my hair is curly and in tact but by the end I look like a freaky Macy Gray impersonator. And lord forbid I decide to get into the sauna, whoa! that hair looks fried, dyed, and laid to the side! Now I refuse to sacrifice physical health and appearance for hair, but honestly what good is one without the other? Whatever happened to the total package? In my quest for a solution I have asked many of the gym naturals what they find effective but all I get is "girl wear a scarf" or "just twist it up and workout." Now I don't know about you, but I refuse to walk around the gym looking like snoop dog, or tupac so I really need your help! I have decided before jumping in the sauna today I will try putting a ton of leave in conditioner in my hair to soak up the heat but when it comes to a workout style I am stumped. So to all you aspiring Madam CJ Walkers' Please help me, halloween is over and so is slavery therefore it's no excuse for me to walk around look a mess.
