Good Morning Curlies, today's post is a follow up from last weeks wig experiment, and I have come to a couple of conclusions:

1.  Whoever said you can't have your cake and eat it too is a liar.  The wig is a great way for you ladies that are battling whether to return to extensions to feed your appetite for the quick and easy luxurious lifestyle or the nubian natural niche to satisfy both desires.

2. Going this route still allows you to undergo your daily maintenance routines while giving yourself a break from the dreadful hairstyle monotony.

3. This may be the oddest conclusion of them all but, wearing my wig made me realize when it comes to women's hair men truly "DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WANT."  Over the past weekend I've had more quality compliments and relationship advances than the entire time period I've worn my natural hair (key word was QUALITY).  Men say "black women just need to wear their real hair and stop following victim to images portrayed in the media"  but if we are guilty of following victim then men sure as hell are too.   If this was untrue they wouldn't cleave to so many women who reflect those images.  Over the course of the weekend I heard, "I love your natural hair like that" and "Wow, you should wear your hair in that style more often, it really "SUITS" you." All the while I'm thinking fool this is a wig!!!  I'm not having a soap box about black men, but all I'm saying is stop fronting like you are so disgusted with black women wearing extensions and just be honest with the world and say "as long as it looks good on you, we really don't care how you wear it."

All in all, the wig was a big success and to be honest I'm wearing it now, and probably will continue to wear it throughout the remainder of the week.  This has been your wig update, let us know what you would like to hear!!!!
